The breakfast was sensational. The rooms are comfortably furnished. From the accommodation you can reach the beach in 2 minutes on foot. Chef Abdul conjures up imaginary food. The owner takes a lot of trouble, so that one can only feel comfortable. Wlan also works well. I'd book again anytime. Perfect check out with your credit card.

We loved our stay at Yellow Card! After traveling around Zanzibar for a few days, we decided to find a place and call it 'home' for a full week. So SO glad we landed at Yellow Card!! We LOVED our stay here and will treasure our memories forever more!! Bianka and her family were the loveliest, most welcoming hosts ever. They feel like our family now! It was also nice to have a little bit of European influence in our stay and it made it feel even more like home. The food at the restaurant was super delicious and great prices, and the breakfast which was included as part of our stay was fabulous! Delicious, super fresh fruit juice and fruit daily, and a choice of different types of eggs, grilled cheese toast. We loved it so much :). Room was very clean and were serviced every second day, which was perfect for us. Great, modern bathrooms, hot water, good water pressure. Staff were all so so friendly and kind and helpful, great security, always felt very safe day and night. The shared communal kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals half the time, and even had an old-school CD player and a bunch of CDs to play, which was really fun. Location was great, quick walk to the beach, next to a big open sandy field where locals played soccer daily. Local fruit and veg store literally next door selling fresh produce every day and night. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone coming to Zanzibar. It's a home away from home- plenty of places to chill and it's close to everything and so many lovely things to see around Zanzibar too. We simply took little day trips on our rented vespa to Jozani forest, Kizimkazi dolphin swims , Mtende beach and cliff sculptures, etc. A favourite place for sure! Thank you for having us!
Do recommend this hotel.

The location in the village was perfect, surrounded by charming shops and restaurants, and just a short walk from the beautiful beach. Additionally, the breakfast choices were outstanding, with delicious options that left us feeling satisfied and ready for the day ahead.
Everything was great, no complaints at all!

The breakfast was delicious and filling, with a refreshing fruit juice and a variety of fresh fruits, eggs and more. The location was perfect, with a beautiful garden and a nearby beach. We also enjoyed the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
The walk to the beach was a bit further than we expected, which was a minor inconvenience. However, the beautiful scenery and quiet village made up for it.
